Recalls: First call is when your match & dartboard are posted at your assigned stage. Second call is when your match is called over the P.A. system. Third call, you forfeit your match. Five minutes will be given between calls.
Starting A 2-out-of-3 Game Match (except in Pro events): Start with a coin toss. The coin toss winner shoots first in the first game. The loser of the first game shoots first in the second game. Diddle for the middle to see who starts the third game.
Diddle For The Middle: One player from each team throws one dart for the center of the Bullseye. The player whose dart comes closest to the dead center, has the option of going first. If a player hits the dead center with the first dart, the player must remove the dart and allow the next player to shoot for a tie. The dart must stick on the diddle. Any team member may diddle.
Double In/Double Out (Pro events only): In 501 DI/DO, the Bullseye may NOT be used as an IN or an OUT dart. If a player shoots a Bull to start or finish, they lose the game.
Practice Darts: Only three warm-up darts will be allowed before starting a match — only one turn!
Weight Limit: 20 grams maximum per dart will be allowed on all darts.
Toe Line (Oche): A player’s foot can be flush with the toe line. No part of his/her shoe may touch the floor beyond the throw line prior to the dart contacting the dartboard.
Prize Payout: In order to receive any payout, you will have to present proper identification & provide a social security number Per the IRS.
Coaching: There will be no coaching in the single events.
Scoring: The “Last Dart” (winning dart) will end the game, even if the dart game does not record the score, as long as the dart is sticking in the board. Otherwise, any questions, ask the tournament director, for a final ruling.
Sportsmanship: Good sportsmanship will prevail during the entire tournament. Any player displaying misconduct will be asked to leave the playing area and will be eliminated from the tournament competition.
Matches: During the tournament, your name, your opponent’s name, or team nicknames and a dartboard number will be posted on your chart. Go immediately to the dartboard and play your match. The winner of the match must come to the stage area and report the win. You do not win the match until you report to your stage.
Conflicts: If you are playing in an event and you are called for a different event, you are responsible to let the stage chart personnel know that you are still involved in a previous event. The conflicting match will be put on “hold” until the Tournament Director instructs you to play a match or you finish the previous event. (Ex: Playing Men’s Doubles and get called for Mixed Triples.)
Eligibility Entry Clarification: BullShooter tournament management reserves the right to evaluate entries based on knowledge of past tournament accomplishments in the sport of darting. It is the desire of Arachnid 360, and the A-Team, to provide as equalized competition as possible for all entrants. All decisions on placement will be prior to the event starting. All decisions by BullShooter tournament management are binding and final.
